Invitation: TUB-Tongji Online Summer School 2022
"If you want to understand China, you should travel there!"
Dear students,
with this sentence we have been starting the invitation email to the TUB-Tongji Summer School, which normally takes place in China, for years. However, due to the current uncertain travel conditions, this is currently difficult to do. Therefore, we have decided to hold the Summer School 2022 of TU Berlin and Tongji University online.
When? September 05-09, 2022 (Online)
Under the direction of sinologist Dr. Sigrun Abels, the course was offered at the Chinese-German University College (CDHK) of Tongji University for years in Shanghai. Now we would like to bring impressions of China into your study!
The modular, one-week intensive program is primarily aimed at students of economics, but is also of interest to humanities students and, in principle, to all students interested in gaining deeper insights into Chinese culture, politics, economics and language. It combines lectures by renowned China experts with intercultural management training and specialized courses by professors and company representatives. You can also look forward to exciting insights, such as virtual China tours.
The successful participation will be confirmed by a certificate. Students can presumably have the study achievements to be proven within the scope of the Summer School credited with 3 ECTS.
Participation is free of charge. A detailed draft program will follow shortly and will be available on our website in a timely manner.
