As of October 1, 2026, Prof. Dr. Martin Nienhaus has become the new Executive Scientific Director of the Institute, succeeding Prof. Dr. Heiko Müller in accordance with the scheduled rotation. Prof. Dr. Thorsten Knauer has assumed the role of Deputy Director.
